An exciting draw was recorded in the Juniors (9-12 years) touch competition last week at Ward Oval.
Blueberries and Ice Spice couldn’t be split on the field or on the scoreboard and the match finished in a thrilling 12-all draw.
Alfie Toomey and Josh McMillan led the scoring in the game touching down for four tries each for their Ice Spice team.
Team mate Rhylee Nicholson added another two points to their tally with her try (female tries are worth double points) and Billy Williams and Jason Thou, with one try each, were responsible for Ice Spice’s remaining points.
Blueberries were well served by Dusty McDonald (3), Taj Goonrey (3), Kasalia Fakahua (2) and Hallie Deppeler.
