Dunn returned as league president

John Dunn was returned as president of the Cobar Senior Rugby League committee at the group’s annual general meeting last week at the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club.

Dunn presented a very passionate and heartfelt president’s report to last week’s meeting saying it had been a great honour to be involved with such a great club over the past season.

He praised the efforts of the hard working committee and the performances of the club’s four teams this season, including a grand final win for the Under 18s.

Dunn was unanimously re-elected as president with Genie McMullen and Simone Neyland stepping into the role of vice presidents.

Tia Turner was returned as the club’s secretary with Lauren Dunn taking on the role of treasurer.

Bianka Jacobson was elected as registrar and public officer.

Rhiana Kershaw was officially voted in as grants officer and will also share the role of media officer with Tia Turner.

Paul Sullivan took on the role of groundskeeper with the assistance of Claud Parisi, John Dunn, Ambrose McMullen and Mick Armstrong.
