Christmas 2021 was a little bit brighter for the Cobar Brennan Centre residents who received a special treat from Peak Gold Mines on Christmas Eve. Peak’s general manager Craig Thomas said every Christmas Aurelia Metals delivers special Christmas lunch packs to their dedicated employees who are rostered on Christmas Day. “Our wonderful HR and Administration Officer, Susie Loughran is assigned the task of ensuring traditional treats are on the menu. This year she decided to order additional Christmas lunch packs for the 18 residents of the Bill Brennan Centre too,” he said. “We were delighted to take these down to the Centre on Christmas Eve together with a small gift from everyone at Aurelia Metals’ Peak Mine.” Pictured are Brennan Centre committee member Colleen Boucher, resident Phyllis Budd and Peak Gold Mine representative Laura Barnes.
