Members of the Cobar Hospital Auxiliary committee have been working hard over the past year fundraising to help out the Cobar Hospital.

The committee works with staff to help provide items that are not covered by the Western NSW Local Health District’s budget and help to make a patient’s stay more comfortable or the staff’s job easier.

Over the past year the group has purchased an air comfort seat (at a cost of $2,200), paediatric attachments for the oxygen saturation monitor ($1,420) as well as three nebulisers and four television remote controls.

In addition to fundraising, the group has also received $1,840 in donations this year which has helped them to make the purchases.

The group celebrated the end of the year with a Christmas party for members and friends at the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club on Friday night.
