Hustlers toppled off top of the table team, The Opposition, in the Mixed Indoor Netball competition last Tuesday night at the youth centre.
The match started on an even keel with the scores locked at just 3-all at the end of the first quarter.
Hustlers then pulled away to have a five goal lead at half time and they continued to extend the margin throughout the second half to finish with a comprehensive 30-15 win.
The Opposition’s players however picked up the bulk of the game’s Best and Fairest points with Chris Gilbert and Bianka Jacobson awarded three points each and Zach Finn and Ella Moratti earned one point each.
Hustlers husband and wife team mates, Corin and Laura Ah-See collected two Best and Fairest points each.
Two goals was all that separated Whatever and Bench Warmers in their game last week.
Whatever eventually came out on top as 26-24 winners but that was after a hard struggle with a very determined Bench Warmers team.
Whatever’s team members Mathew Hunter, Nathan Prince, Hayley Prince and Jo-Louise Brown shared the game’s Best and Fairest points with Bench Warmers’ Sione Fakahua and Cairo Haronga.
