
ATC Angels have started off the 2026 Cobar Netball Association’s Senior Ladies competition on the right foot recording back-to-back wins in Round 1 and 2.
In Friday night’s Round 2 game at the Ward Oval netball courts, ATC Angels finished with a close 40-35 win over Broughton Ballers.
From the start it was going to be a close game with the two sides evenly matched up and down the court.
At the end of the first quarter, the scores were locked at 9-all.
The Broughton Ballers then got their noses in front to lead by two points at the half time break, 20-18, before ATC Angels fought back to take a two point lead in the third quarter.
ATC Angels continued the momentum into the final quarter and held on to finish with a five point win.
Kahlie Obray and Grace Burge were best on court for ATC Angels while Broughton Ballers were well-served by Sarah Morley.
Grace also shared in the game’s Sportsmanship points with Broughton Ballers’ Stevie Toomey.
Divas dominated their Round 2 game with Trial N Error.
They led from the start to finish with a
59-25 victory.
Trial N Error’s Georgie Baker and Lise Ione shared in the game’s B&F points with Divas’ Rhylee Patterson.
The game’s Sportsmanship points were shared by Isla McKervey (Trial N Error) and Zara Patterson (Divas).
In the other match, Smash Ups had it all their way in their game with Last Minute Legends and finished with a big 70 to 24 victory.
Last Minute Legends’ Nicole Snudden and Tillie Cain shared in the game’s B&F points with Smash Up’s Emma Harley.
Tillie also earned Sportsmanship points along with Neve Carter (Smash Ups).
