StormCo rolls in

For 26 years, Cobar has been welcoming students and supervisors from the
Avondale School in Cooranbong near Newcastle to run StormCo activities in the July school holidays. The Year 11 and 12 students volunteer their time and pay their own way to come. While in Cobar they run Kids Club activities offering craft, face
painting, games, balloons, singing and a puppet show. (Pictured above are the
students with some local kids at their Kids Club activities at Cobar Primary School on Monday.) The Avondale students have also been doing some community service work including helping to plant the community garden at the Cobar Youth &
Community Centre. ▪ Photo contributed
