Second successive big win on the road

The Cobar Roosterettes recorded their second consecutive big win on the road after they accounted for Coonabarabran 40-0 in their Castlereagh League Tag game on Saturday at Coonabarabran.
Taylah Good finished the match with a hat-trick of tries with Kayla Hasson scoring a dou-ble and Bridgette Negfeldt and Brianna Watson also added a try each to the Roosterettes’ big tally.
Watson was on fire with the boot kicking six goals.
The win puts the Roosterettes into equal 5th spot with Warren and, similar to the Castle-reagh First Grade and Reserve Grade competi-tions, the final composition of the semi-finalists remains unknown and won’t be decid-ed until this Saturday afternoon after the final round matches.
Cobar has a tough match for Round 14 at home when they take on the third placed Nar-romine side.
Warren will also have a hard game when they come up against 4th placed Baradine for their Round 14 encounter.
Coolah, who finished the season as the minor premiers, and Dunedoo (2nd) round out the top five in this season’s competition.
