Roosters serve up a feast of footy

The Cobar Roosters Senior Rugby League Club served up a feast of footy in the Christie & Hood Castlereagh League competition at Tom Knight Memorial Oval on Saturday afternoon. The big crowd came in early as the new Roosters Reserve Grade kicked off their season when they hosted the Gilgandra Panthers. Despite a big effort from the Roosters Reggies, the pacey Panthers went home with the
32-12 win. The Roosterettes dominated their Round 10 League Tag game against Coonamble to claim a 28-6 victory over the visitors and the Cobar First Grade side out-scored the Bears 10 tries to two in their 52-12 win.
