Roosters crowing after grand final win

The Cobar Roosters Under 18s team, coaches and supporters came home crowing on Saturday after a highly memorable finish to a memorable season, in what has been a memorable year (for COVID related reasons). The Cobar Juniors side recorded a thrilling two points win over Coonamble in the Christie and Hood Youth League grand final at Gilgandra on Saturday. It was a back-to-back win for the Cobar side of the Castlereagh Youth League title and adds to the Under 18s win in the Barwon Darling competition in 2017. Prior to that a Cobar Juniors side had not won a grand final since 1990.
