The Triples Championship bowls semi final was played on Sunday afternoon at the Golfie.
Let’s start by saying it took eight ends for the ‘Young Guns’ Jay Egan, Alec Fraser and Mark Fraser to get on the board!
Don Roberts, Kyle Roberts and Doug Hudson came out ‘all guns blazing’ from the get-go winning multiple four shot ends to reach +17 compared to the Young Guns’ progressive score of zero!
The ‘Guns’ then scored a five shot win to kick their tally off, but unperturbed, the ‘hot shots’ maintained their undeniable prowess on the greens to eventually claim their much applauded victory by a crushing +22, crushing for the youngsters that is!
It was duly noted that Hudson’s bowls burglar skills were well honed all day!
