The Indoor Soccer competition grand final took place last Monday night at the Cobar Youth & Community Centre with the Pink team finishing as eventual winners.
The mixed competition for players 13 years plus attracted plenty of interest with four teams making up the 2025/2026 competition.
Teams played 13 games in the regular season which was followed by two finals games.
The Yellow team finished the season as the minor premiers with 22 points followed by Pink in second, Red was third and Blue rounded out the field in 4th place.
In the first week of the finals, Blue shocked Yellow to claim a win and they headed to the final.
Pink had an easier run to the final after they defeated a short handed Red team.
In Monday night’s grand final between Pink and Blue, the regulation time ended in a 2-all draw. Extra time of four minute halves commenced and an unfortunate penalty by Blue led to a penalty shot.
Pink capitalised, and with a composed and clinical finish, ultimately finished with a 3-2 thrilling win.
