Catch up games were played in the Seniors Touch competition on Thursday night with Round 6 and Round 7 matches in the 13-16 years competition played last week as a double-header.
Pink Kinis and Blue Bulls both won back-to-back matches in their double-header round.
Pink Kinis won their Round 6 game 7-3 against Green Machine and then backed up to just beat Cheese Balls in a close 4-3 encounter.
Pink Kinis’ try-scorers in game one were Ella Oborn, Riley Bruce, Skyla Fairfull and Sosie Barton while Sosie, Ethan McLeod and Talas Burke were their point scorers for their Round 7 match.
Blue Bulls accounted for Cheese Balls 8-2 in their first game and then beat Green Machine by the same 8-2 margin in their Round 7 game.
Rhylee Patterson scored three tries for Blue Bulls in their first match and Parker Cryer crossed for two.
Parker also landed two tries in their second game with Green Machine.
Team mates, Holly Watt and Jaxon Burke, also contributed two tries each to Blue Bulls’ winning tally.
A high scoring 14-all draw was played out between Red Cherries and Orangutans in the
9-12 years Round 7 game last week.
Corey Cleary led the try scoring for Red Cherries with five touchdowns with Alfie Toomey (4), Tom Preisig (2), Billy Dunn and Josephine Baker-Mooney their other try scorers.
Billy Watt and Kasalia Fakahua touched down for three tries each for Orangutans with Josh Gillette (2), Hallie Deppeler and Hugo Josephson also crossing for Orangutans.
In the other 9-12 years game Blue Takis finished as 12-5 winners over the Yellow Bananas.
Mark McBride (2), Taj Goonrey (2), Tommy George (2), Ashlee Compton, Indie Burke and Rhylee Nicholson scored Blue Takis’ points.
In reply, Keelan Atuau (3), Thomas Knight and Zac Brown scored tries for the Bananas.
