Pianist performs

World renowned concert pianist Roman Rudnytsky performed last Tuesday night at the Services Club. Roman’s Cobar recital included a range of intricate and dramatic sonatas, romantic and sensuous compositions as well as rollicking folk melodies from a range of composers including Haydn, Beethoven, Debussy, Albeniz, Chopin and Liszt. The United States-based musician performs concerts every second year in Australia and is a regular visitor to Cobar as a guest of the Cobar Arts Council. Roman is pictured with Cobar Arts Council members Lillian Simpson, Bev Anderson, Sue Singleton and Jean Poulter who helped to coordinate last week’s concert and dinner at the Services Club.
