Two time Aria award-winner and nine time Golden Guitar winner, Australian country music singer and songwriter, Fanny Lumsden, is appearing at the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club on Saturday night.

Fanny Lumsden and her band The Prawnstars are currently on their way home after appearing this week at the Big Red Bash near Birdsville.

Fanny is no stranger to the road, having done 1000s of kms on her Country Halls Tour over the past decade in shows described as “pure joy”!

This current tour is a journey of epic proportions.

Fanny and her crew headed off last week from Tooma in southern NSW up to Birdsville to play at the iconic Big Red Bash.

She’s also stopping at Windorah and Cobar to play free shows on the trip back, and Fanny will take her longtime dedicated band, The Prawnstars and YOU (virtually) with her.

By capturing the magic of the journey on film, Fanny intends to document this adventure from live songs and behind-the-scenes exclusives, to how a touring mum juggles it all on a diet of deep-fried servo food!

This project is for anyone who’s passionate/curious about live regional touring and helping a grassroots artist who’s been putting in the hard yards for years.

The filming began at the Big Red Bash, and will continue through the two outback shows along the way (including Cobar) and all the moments in between.
