Old grandstand demolished

Demolition work on the old grandstand at Ward Oval began last week as part of
Council’s redevelopment plans for the oval. The decision to demolish the grandstand
was made after discussion took place and it was found the structure was noncompliant
and also under used. Temporary staging and portable grandstand options
will be available for the Cobar Show later this year.
