Cobar’s Detective Senior Constable Greg McKervey was presented the prestigious Gregory Jackson Award for the Central North Police District Officer of the Year at a ceremony in Bourke recently. He is pictured above with Central North Police District Superintendent Greg Moore at the ceremony, where he also received his 10 years service medal for ethical and diligent service. A total of 28 Central North district
officers were recognised for their service to the community at the ceremony.

Cobar’s Senior Constable Ben Wright was one of a number of Central North Police recognised for outstanding service to the community at an awards ceremony in Bourke recently. Senior Constable Wright, pictured above (left) with Superintendent Greg Moore, was presented with a Commanders Merit Certificate for his involvement in a rural police operation.
