NRL community clinic

Former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer Clinton Toopi (who now
coordinates the National Rugby League’s State of Mind workshops), retired
rugby league great and State of Mind Advocate, Joel Thompson (who was born in
Ivanhoe, NSW), along with NSW Police Force Youth Engagement Officer Senior
Constable Therese Carroll, were in Cobar yesterday to conduct NRL State of Mind
clinics at St John’s School (pictured above), Cobar High School and with the Cobar
Roosters club’s three teams. The NRL’s State of Mind community program aims to
start conversations about mental health.
