The Cobar Junior Rugby League Under 12 and Under 16 sides played Parkes Marists teams in Dubbo for Round 2 of the Dubbo & District competition on Saturday.
The Under 12s game was a nail-biter with Parkes finishing with a 16-10 win.
Tries for Cobar were scored by Jack Rogers and Tim Eves with conversions by Hayden Seng. Jaxon Burke and Drew Barton collected the Coach’s Awards.
The Roosters Under 16s went down 26-10 with Fraser Talu and Reynold Mugugia running in tries for Cobar and Ryan Urquhart kicked one goal. Elias Aumua and Kai Greenwood earned the Coach’s Award.
Under 10s and Under 14s both had byes.
Sunday’s Coach’s Awards went to Tommy George and Lucas Townsend (Under 8s) and Cooper Trudgett and Christopher Cohen-Quayle (Under 6s).
