The Men’s Golf Club Championships were contested over two days on the weekend with Jacob Ryan well out in front of the rest of the field to claim the A Grade title.
Ryan finished with a score of 207 from the two days of 27 holes Stroke competitions.
Alec Fraser was second on a countback with a score of 231 from Garry Wilkin, also finishing with 231.
Darryn Lord won the B Grade title with a score of 262 over Stewart Fraser on 265 with Jayde Townsend 10 points back in third place on 275. Colin ‘Butch’ Eves took out C Grade with a score of 275 ahead of Dale Dunkley (282) and Larry Brydon (283).
Eves also won the 54 Hole Nett competition with a score of 198.
Ryan, with 207, was second on a countback from Alec Fraser, also on 207.
Lord won Saturday’s 27 Hole Nett competition with a score of 99½ ahead of Wilkin on 101½. The Nearest the Pin winner on the 8th hole was Stewart Fraser and Alec Fraser won the pin prize on the 15th.
Bill Fugar was Sunday’s 27 Hole Nett winner with 103 and Craig Dillon (with 105) was declared second after a countback. The Nearest the Pin prize on the 3rd hole was won by Bill Fugar and Jay Egan won the 15th.
The Trangie Vets day is tomorrow.
This Saturday will be the Rob’s C-Food Day, a three person Ambrose, and on Sunday Bannisters Day will be contested.
