M&C Parisi Floorboards had a big win over Cobar Hotshots 14-1 in last week’s indoor soccer competition and it’s the fourth time in eight games that Floorboards have scored 14 or more goals.
M&C Parisi Floorboards have a formidable for and against record in this competition.
They are currently averaging 10 goals per game and only conceding one.
Jason Forster lead the scoring for M&C Parisi Floorboards in last week’s game with four goals, Shannon Purton three (six points), Robert Childs (2) and Bryan Ambrose and Wade Potter one each.
Brock Ford scored Hot Shots’ only goal.
In their match last week Chain Reaction held on to defeat Endeavor 7–6.
The win moved Chain Reaction into third spot on the competition ladder and all but ensures them a berth in the finals.
Chain Reaction led at the half time break 5–3 before Endeavor stormed back in the second half to take a 6-5 lead.
However Chain Reaction spoiled their party with a late female goal (worth two points) to take the win.
Goal scorers for Chain Reaction were Tadgh Waugh (2) and Jono Williams, Angela Shepard and Sarah Barber scored one each.
For Endeavor goals were scored by Alfred Mutale, John Sipendi, Ruth Sipendi and Ellie McLaughlin.
Bayer Neverlosen claimed a hard fought 5–1 win against Wii Not Fit.
Leading 2-1 at the half time break, Bayer Neverlosen scored three unanswered goals in the second half to keep their eight game winning streak alive.
Bayer Neverlosen goals were scored by Daniel Howard (3) and James Anderson (2).
