Matt Harland claimed the Billy Manns Memorial Trophy at the Cobar Clay Target Club’s shoot on Sunday.
The competition attracted 16 shooters, including competitors from Lightning Ridge, Kingaroy and Brewarrina.
The opening event was a 25 Target Double Barrel shoot with four shooters finishing with a possible (perfect score) including Kevin Hatch (to win AA Grade), Aaron Marsh and Ross Morris (who were joint winners in A Grade) and Brad Kendrick in B Grade.
There was a three-way tie in C Grade with Tracey Boon, Tony Rogers and Jason Foster all finishing with 23/25.
Hatch also won the AA Grade 25 Target Single Barrel event with 22/25; Marsh tied with Max Ingleton (25/25) in A Grade; Kendrick won B Grade with 25/25; and Boon (23/25) was the outright winner of C Grade.
Harland won the 30 Target Handicap Billy Manns Memorial event after a shoot off with Ingleton. Hot on their heels were Blake Dunne and Jim Manns.
