Mako’s called all the shots in their Round 5 Opens Touch match last week beating their opposition, Rusty Snails, 14-0.

The last season’s A Grade runners-up, Mako’s, have plenty of pacey players in their side this season and they were in great form up against the Snails last week.

Rhylee Jeffery (2) and new recruit this season, Thomas Plater (2) led the scoring with Aisha Schofield, Brianna Watson, Codi Ellison, Jack Brown and Jed Noonan also crossing for a try each.

Jack and Rhylee shared in the referee’s Best & Fairest points along with Rusty Snails’ Mat Shepherd.

The competition’s reigning champs, Blossoms were tested in their Round 5 match last week by one of the new teams this season, Full Tilt. Blossoms held out to finish with a narrow 10-8 win.

Sosie Barton added six points to Blossoms total with her three tries (female tries are worth double points). Team mates Jackson Muldoon, Jaxon Burke and Sarah Nicholson touched down for a try each.

In reply, Tadgh McMullen landed three tries for Full Tilt, Brennan Auckett scored a double and Georgia Boland and Will Oborn also crossed for a try each.

The referees’ B&F points went to Sosie, Tadgh and Sarah.

Former Touch champions, Concrete Cowboys have been making a good showing this season and last week they cleaned up last season’s B Grade title holders, Fast Fades, 19-2.

Most of the Cowboys’ players contributed to the scoreboard with Bridgette Negfeldt, Neve Carter and Taylah Good all scoring doubles.

Ash Davies, Ben Griffiths, Rori Urquhart, Ryan Urquhart, Toby Greenwood and Tyler Coughlan also landed a try each.

Fast Fades’ two points came from a try each to Billy George and George Manu.

B&F points were shared by Abbey Farrell (Fast Fades), Tyler and Neve.

Phat Athletes were also in sensational form last week to win their match with Rock Dogs 18-7. Josh Francisco led the scoring with four tries for Phat Athletes, Bianka Jacobson and Rhylee Patterson each scored doubles and Adam Doherty, Chloe Griffiths and Summer Patterson also crossed for a try each.

Rock Dogs’ points came from a try each to Aiden Hyland, Ed Paul, Mason King, Montana Grentell and Sarah Johnson.

Bianka and Phat Athletes team mate Jezebel Hitchins shared in the referees’ B&F points along with Sarah.

Kiss my pass had a good 8-1 win over Guns N Hoses. Tom McKenna, with two touchdowns, led the scoring for Kiss my pass.

Their other try scorers were Kayla Hasson, Riki Schaumkel and Toea Wisil. Graham Manuai was Guns N Hoses’ lone try scorer.

Tom and Graham collected B&F points along with Isabelle Gillette (Kiss my pass).
