Local showjumper Kaila Wharton recently competed at the Tullamore and Condobolin agriculture shows with three of her horses.
At Tullamore Wharton competed on ‘Reflecting King’ in the 100cm and 90cm rounds to place 2nd and 5th respectively.
She also competed on ‘Make Some Noise’ in the 110cm and 120cm classes finishing with a good result of 3rd in the 110cm class.
Last weekend at Condobolin Wharton and ‘Reflecting King’ entered the 100cm and 95cm classes on Friday before taking a step up on Saturday for their first attempt together in the 110cm class.
They produced three good rounds up against some tough competition.
‘Be Just’ also produced some great rounds in the 115cm classes on both days.
Wharton also competed with ‘Make Some Noise’ in the 110cm and 115cm classes on both days jumping some great clear rounds and taking home a 2nd place in the Open 110cm class.
