Local business woman, Seigrid Peters, from The Pink Galah art gallery, this week launched her own podcast as part of Cobar Shire’s WOW week of events celebrating local women.
“The WOW Pod began as a means to educate myself in small business, I had questions and wanted to talk to others,” Seigrid told The Cobar Weekly.
“I’m a big believer in sharing stories. It can be very powerful.”
Seigrid said she created the WOW Podcast to provide rural women with a platform to amplify their voices, their stories, passions, challenges, successes and to bring a focus to small business in rural Australia.
“It’s all about celebrating women who are having a go, stepping outside their comfort zones, making it happen regardless of location and running a business alongside families and life,” Seigrid said.
