Khan’s kindness

Local residents Kerrie Wilson and Sharon Bishop were this week recipients of donations from the Khan’s supermarket group’s ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ program. The pair were nominated by members of the public and chosen as very worthy recipients. Kerrie received $250 to help out with medical expenses following an
accident in March which resulted in a compound fracture of her leg. Sharon collected $500 to help replace household items that were lost in a kitchen fire at her home in May. The pair are pictured above with Burgess SUPA IGA store manager Tristan Gruber and Khan’s SUPA IGA store manager Matt Carey. Kerrie and Sharon were both humbled and overwhelmed with the generous donations.
