Saturday’s annual Langford Day mixed Canadian golf event turned out to be an exceptional day for Karen Manns.
Not only did Manns and partner Mark ‘George’ Fraser win the day with 69 5/8 net, she had what every golfer dreams of, a hole-in-one on the par three 8th hole! Celebrations continued well after the presentation with talk of a ‘stuffed galah’ being awarded at the end of the year’s presentation night.
In second place were Julie Livingston and Alec Fraser on 72 1/2 net followed by Jannine and Garry Wilkin with 73 net…Full report in this week’s edition out now!
