Inter Mine Golf Challenge was another BIG event

The annual Inter Mine Golf Challenge on Saturday was as usual bigger than Bronwyn Bishop’s travel allowance with a field of 224 players taking part.

The event attracts golfers and non golfers, mine staff, contractors and suppliers as well as community members for what is always a good day out.

Peak Gold Mines finished as the winner of this year’s three mine challenge event.

The Individual Team winner was the side of Jannine Wilkin, Garry Wilkin and visitor C Ahsee. Many trophies were handed out on the day.

Sunday scheduled event was a Stroke game however there were not enough players for a competition.

There was no game played last Wednesday.

Today’s scheduled event is a Stableford and on Saturday a Stroke game will be played to contest the 6th Round of the Captain’s Trophy competition.

Sunday’s game is yet to be announced. The Albert and Hillston opens are set down for Sunday.
