Work is currently underway rebuilding major stormwater culverts crossing Cornish Street as part of Cobar Shire Council’s Industrial Estate Road and Stormwater Upgrade Project. Council’s director of engineering Heinz Kausche reports the works in Cornish Street are anticipated to extend to the end of the month (pending weather). “Further works including onsite service relocations, stormwater and pavement works are also currently ramping up throughout the Stage 1 areas of the Industrial Estate.
