An astute businesswoman with 15 years business experience in both Australia and internationally is to be a guest speaker at this year’s Great Cobar Business Awards.

Simone Fletcher, from Fletcher Consultancy in Narromine, will be the guest of the Cobar Business Association at this year’s business awards dinner.

Simone will talk about her business experience which includes her most recent position as Head of People and Culture with global business giant, Coca-Cola Amatil.

Narromine born and raised, Simone graduated a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) with distinction from Charles Sturt University and was invited to the McKinsey Top 300 Australian and New Zealand Young Leaders program in 2018.

She’s also benefited from attending the inaugural David Gonski top talent leadership program for senior women at Coca-Cola Amatil.

After recently making the decision to return country NSW, Simone started up her consultancy business with the ambition to grow regional business in NSW.

“My aim is to try to unlock the opportunity associated with 58 per cent of local business still sourcing their consultancy from a capital city,” Simone told The Cobar Weekly.

“Whether it be defining a business plan, entering a new market, offering a new product or service, considering M&A or divestment, my experience is in partnering with business to unlock growth potential.”

Simone can also help businesses with strategic people planning to deliver stronger financial performance; expertise in change management and communication planning and execution; and creating astute people practices (i.e. talent, engagement and performance).
