The Intermine Golf Challenge has been assisting lots of local organisations this year with the money raised from their popular annual golf day in July. Cobar Public School’s MCF Class, teacher Aaron Finn, teacher’s aid Heather Knight and students William Madden, Takai Collis, Lyndan Madden and Jayden Morris (absent Vinnie Mitchell and Declan Byrne) have recently taken delivery of a cooktop oven to help the students to learn life skills. Other recipients include the Cobar Arts Council, Copper City Men’s Shed, Cobar Cadets, Kubby House Childcare Centre; Cobar Public School P & C; Carewest; Cobar Youth & Fitness Centre; Cobar Auto Club; PPs Organisation; St John’s School; and ROAR.
