Bowlers raved about the perfect greens running fast and true on Sunday at the Golfie due to greenkeeper Stewart Simpson’s efforts.
The highlight of the day was the Fours Championship game between Greg Read, David Knight, Alan Knight and Tom McKeown who took on Gerard Livingston, Bian Smith, Scott Mayne and Allan Gardoll.
Team Read started strong then Team Livo hogged the mat for five ends taking the lead until a five point advantage put Read and Co back in front!
Over the next four ends there was barely a point separating them.
By the 14th end the scores were even at
14-all, and then Team Read scored another five point advantage.
