Indoor soccer matches played last week at Cobar Youth & Fitness Centre saw M&C Parisi Floorboards and Bayer Neverlosen both record wins to keep their clean sheets so far this season while Chain Reaction scored their first competition point.
In the first game of the night Cobar Hot Shots drew 2-all with Chain Reaction.
After a tough introduction in the first week of the competition, Chain Reaction looked more composed scoring their first competition point last Wednesday night up against the Hot Shots.
Brock Ford scored for Hot Shots and Michael Fanning netted Chain Reaction’s goal and each team also conceded an own goal.
In the second game of the night Bayer Neverlosen played Endeavor.
Billed as a grudge match following the defection of several players from Endeavor to Neverlosen in the off season, there had been plenty of discussion during the week about the match.
On the night Neverlosen proved to be too strong winning 10–0.
Goal scorers for Neverlosen were Dylan Menadue (4), Jade Buckman (3), James Anderson (2) and David Atuau (1).
M&C Parisi Floorboards battled it out with Wii Not Fit in the last game of the night.
Floorboards wore down their opposition, particularly in the second half, to run away with a big 7-0.
Robert Childs starred scoring three goals, Jason Foster netted two and Marc Cummins and Wade Potter scored one point each for M&C Parisi Floorboards.—contributed
