Firies fraternity farewells former captain

Brad Lennon (at centre holding framed certificate), a long serving Fire and Rescue Station 256 crew member, has recently retired after dedicating 18 years as a Retained Firefighter with the service. Brad joined the Cobar station in January 2005 as their 151st firefighter and served as their captain for almost eight years. (He was Cobar’s 18th captain and one of their longest serving.) Brad was officially farewelled on Saturday night by his Station 256 family, along with Fire and Rescue NSW Acting Commissioner Jeremy Fewtrell,
Regional Operations staff, members of Dubbo and Nyngan brigades, former 256 crew members, other local emergency services
personnel, immediate family and friends.
