Farms of the future

The Cooinda Homeschool kids got to go on a cool excursion last week when they visited the Farms of the Future Mobile Learning Centre that’s been touring the Western Region. Students learnt about different Agtech available for landholders to use on their properties. They were able to try Virtual Reality headsets and watch videos which showed Agtech in action and its benefits. Then there was a show and tell of some of the different technology, such as soils moisture probes and virtual fences for cattle. Farms of the Future was
supported by Western Landcare to bring the bus to the region. ▪ Photo contributed
