Craig Jones wins a darts trifecta

Craig Jones took out the trifecta in the Cobar Darts Championships over the weekend winning the Men’s Singles and Doubles titles as well as the Mixed Doubles crown with Paige Coleman.

In the Men’s Singles Jones beat Brett Miller and Jones teamed up with Brian Sylvester to win the Men’s Doubles.

George Greer and Kyle Roberts finished as the Men’s Doubles runners-up.

In the Mixed Doubles final Jones and Coleman outplayed Sylvester and Sharon Bishop.

Latisha Bennett won the Ladies A Grade title from Mescal Nicholls and then the pair teamed up to win the Ladies Doubles competition.

Paige Coleman and Linda Fridd were the Ladies Doubles runners-up.

The Ladies Singles B Grade winner was Taylor Bishop with Samantha Hooker finishing as the runner-up.

A number of 180s (the highest score possible with three darts) were recorded over the course of the championships with Sylvester throwing 180 twice while Jones, Paul Cohen,  Roberts and Kylie Tiffen all recorded one 180 throw each.
