Aust Day Citizen of the Year
Neither the Citizen of the Year (Bruce Shuttle) and Young Citizen of the Year (Conor McMullen) were able to be present to accept their Australia Day awards yesterday at the Cobar Memorial Swimming Pool. However, Bruce’s sister Mary Madden was thrilled to have been able to accept the award on Bruce’s behalf. Mary is pictured with Deputy Mayor Peter Abbott and Australia Day ambassador Katryna Robinson.
