Cobar Roosters come out on top over Warren visitors

Cobar Junior Rugby League hosted War-ren and Wellington teams on Saturday at Tom Knight Memorial Oval for Round 11 of the Dubbo and District Junior Rugby League Competition.
The Cobar Under 10s, 11s and Under 12s all finished with big wins against the Warren visitors.
In the Under 10s match, Cobar finished with a 28-12 win with Tommy George leading the try scoring with three tries.
Eligh Ritter and Judd Josephson also crossed while Ashton White, Clair Cousins, Judd Josephson and Thomas Knight kicked conversions.
Isabelle Gillette was the Players’ Player and Sonny Stephens earned the Coaches Award.
The Roosters Under 11s won their game 32-12 with Mason King, Temi Adesina, George McDonald (2), Rhylee Jeffery and Tommy George their try scorers,
Conversions were kicked by Mason King, Temi Adesina, Jaxon Waugh and George McDonald.
The Players’ Player was Tommy George and the Coaches Award went to George McDonald.
The Under 12s recorded Cobar’s biggest win of the day, beating Warren 36-10.
Try scorers for Cobar were Lachlan Brook-man, Eli Martin (3), Billy George and Clay McDonald (2) while goals were kicked by Lachlan Brookman, Cohan Nicholson, Rowdy Barton and Aiden Hyland.
The Under 12s Players’ Player honour was shared by Clay McDonald and Ben Edge while Aiden Hyland received the Coaches Award.
The Roosters Under 16s lost their match to Wellington 40-12.
Cobar’s try scorers were Jayden Paul and Jamal Eves while Tadgh McMullen booted both goals.
Toby Greenwood was awarded Players’ Player while the Coaches Award went to Joe Webster.
