Cobar High School swimmers Axel Fairfull and Henry Knight competed at the Combined High Schools State Swimming Carnival in Homebush last week. While the boys didn’t make the podium they did however put in impressive performances. Axel finished with six new PBs from his six events. Henry, who was still recovering from COVID and hasn’t been able to train for over two weeks, didn’t get the times he wanted in his three events however was the 18th fastest 15 year old in the state over 100m doing butterfly! We reckon that’s a brilliant effort by the boys.
