Cobar Rugby Union Camels travelled to Gilgandra on Saturday to take on Gulargambone (Gular) in Round 2 of the Western Plains Rugby Union competition and, after an indifferent start, Cobar ran away with the game winning 36 to 7.
Fullback Marika Tuilau (Marika) displayed a touch of class with a hat-trick of tries.
Maybe it was the road trip, but the Camels initially were nowhere near the effective and determined unit that pushed Walgett the week before. The Camels’ backline lacked cohesion.
