The Cobar Bowman’s Club held their first shoot for the year on Sunday with five shooters taking part.
The event was contested as a three arrow round with Luke Dickson finishing with a score of 380 with his compound bow.
Shooting with recurve bows, Dick Tulloh had a score of 342, Scott Meadows 240 and five year old Amelia Dickson scored 160.
Pete Rogers, recovering from a hand injury, didn’t compete but joined the group to get in some practice.

The Rotary Club of Cobar last weekend took delivery of another road train of fodder for drought-stricken Cobar farmers.
