Cleared for take-off

The flight crew of Emma Barton, John de Bruin, Ben Hewlett, Colby Lawrence and Simone Knight from Storm Airways allowed The Cobar Weekly to have a sneak peek in their first class and cockpit section of their Mystery Flight on Saturday night. The unique fundraiser boarded 54 passengers in the main auditorium at the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club and raised almost $5,000 for Camp Quality. While originally bound for Dubai, mechanical problems required a short stopover in Rome (where passengers dined on Spaghetti Bolognaise) and later an on-board incident saw the flight diverted to Mexico City where some fun and games were had with tequila.
