Classic win for CPS team

The Cobar Public School Year 5/6 rugby league team won the first round of the PSSA Classic Shield Rugby League Knockout Competition on Thursday in Dubbo. The round was contested by teams from Buninyong, Wello, Gulgong, Dubbo South,
Nyngan, Mudgee, Cudgegong, Orana Heights and Dubbo North. The CPS team beat Nyngan 26-12 and Mudgee 24-18 which will see them progress to the finals in Parkes at the end of July. ▪ Photo contributed
