Cobar Arts Council finalised their 2020 Art Exhibition schedule at a recent committee meeting.
The group’s publicity officer Bev Anderson said the annual event required changes this year to comply with COVID-19 regulations.
Mrs Anderson said the major adjustment was the removal of the schools section.
“However, the students are encouraged to enter all sections be it artworks, photography, sculpture or craftwork on an individual basis,” Mrs Anderson said.
This year the craft section has been expanded to include a wide variety of items which people may have entered into the pavilion sections of the Cobar Show or have created at a library art or craft workshop.
“The purpose of holding this event, even though under modified conditions, is to offer an interesting display or cross section of the local creative community that provides a pleasurable outing for Cobar residents.
“Peak Gold Mines have generously supported the Arts Council with Cobar Quids prizes, so dig out something you have created and bring it to the railway station for display.”
