There was a big crowd at the Great Western Hotel on Saturday night to farewell Vee Vian and Chris Higgins and their children Archie and Giselle. The family will be heading to Kamloops, Canada where Chris will take up a new position with New Gold. Friends and colleagues gave farewell speeches with Paul Theakston also presenting the pair with a souvenir personalised edition of The Cobar Weekly which catalogued their time in Cobar.
