The Rotary Club of Cobar found a novel way to fundraise and held a Book Fair on Saturday. Rotary Club secretary Gordon Hill said they had a great response from the community with an estimated 1,000 books being donated and also a good response from locals buying books. The fundraiser made $357.60 which Rotary will put towards projects in the local community. Mr Hill said they are considering donating the left over books to the Taree community who lost a lot of books in the recent floods.
