A heap of hurt from Hardie on Hotshots

It was a special night for Kathleen Hardie last Wednesday as she helped her side Wii Not Fit extend their winning streak in this season’s Indoor Soccer competition to eight games.

Hardie was in career best form netting five goals (10 points, female goals are worth two points) for her team.

Wii Not Fit outclassed Hotshots easily winning 13-4.

Josh Brown also scored a hat trick for Wii Not Fit.

For Hotshots, Jade Buckman netted three and Mark Raliecki one.

Wii Not Fit, with nine points, was clear at the top of the competition and finished as minor premiers after winning eight out of the nine games played this season.

M&C Parisi Floorboards just hung on to defeated CSA in the other match played last week.

Leading 6–2 at half time after Shannon Purton had scored three goals, M& C Parisi Floorboards hung on dearly as CSA’s Nathan Chembe and Akwasi Amponsa orchestrated a second half comeback.

Both players scored a double in the second half to boost their tally, but a late goal for Robert Childs secured a 7–6 win for M&C Parisi Floorboards.

Tonight in the major semi-final Wii Not Fit will take on M&C Parisi Floorboards with the winner to advance to the grand final, while the loser will play the winner of the minor semi. In the minor semi-final sudden death game, Hotshots will play CSA with the loser eliminated.
