Former NRL star and sporting ambassador, Preston Campbell, got a great reception from Cobar Junior Rugby League (CJRL) players when he paid a visit to town last Wednesday. CJRL president Simone Knight said it was great to meet Campbell, who among other things is an advocate for Aboriginal employment and a mental health ambassador. She said the football star was very generous with his time, talking to and playing with the kids, handing out high fives and signing autographs.
