Remembering Sarah

The old Cobar Blues representative netball uniforms were brought out on Sunday as family and friends of the late Sarah ‘Irvs’ Irvine gathered at the Ward Oval netball courts for a few social games of netball to remember the Cobar-born and raised local netball and Cobar Blues representative player who passed away two months ago after a long battle with cancer. Pictured are members of Sarah’s family with Bec Harris (at centre back) who was named the day’s “Player with the Most Irvs Potential”. Sarah’s family is keen to work with the Cobar Netball Association to organise an annual
netball event in her memory. A Celebration of Life event for Sarah followed at the
Cobar Bowling & Golf Club.
