A massive contingent of Cobar bowlers headed to Bourke on Sunday for their President’s Day tournament.
With nine teams of triples, it meant a coach was required!
By all accounts it was well worth the trip as the father and son duo Don and Kyle Roberts ably supported by Golfie club president Jim Goonrey finished as the winners.
And second place went to resident coach driver Allan Gardoll and his team of Mick McManus and Skipper extraordinaire Paul Kershaw.
Another Cobar team, David Schofield, Randall Hall and Michael Harvey were just pipped at the post for third place which went to a Bourke side on a count back…Full report in this weeks edition out now!
